Phillip Frost earned his M.D. from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He worked as a Professor of Dermatology at the School of Medicine, University of Miami. In 1972 he bought Key Pharmaceuticals with Michael Jaharis. The company was sold in 1986 for $600 million, of which Phillip Frost got $100 million.
