15. Dr.Seuss

Well known for his children`s books, he also wrote some very interesting comic strips mocking the fascist leaders in World War Two. During World War II, he working in the animation department of the United States Army, where he wrote a film called Design For Death which won the 1947 Academy Award for Documentary Feature. Dr. Seuss’s birthday, March 2, is now known as National Read Across America Day.
