I acknowledge a few (especially the socialites) look horrible, most of them just look OLDER and I think that is far more likely to be the reason for their fading looks. Old age steals beauty. Properly done in small doses, these beauties could have remained practically ageless.

this was bias they compared their youthful photos to them as elder woman with plastic surgery. Obviously they got plastic surgery to look younger,which it did work,they looked like shit but you cant compare the before photo of them being youthful and not “needing”surgery to a after photo of them having surgery when at the time of the surgery they didn’t even look like the before photo.

I just can’t see how so many of these frustrated, desperate, dowagers can hypnotize themselves into believing that having your face carved-up by some egomaniacal, degenerate, control freak, butcher will give them some second shot at youth? I saw Carmen Diaz in a 1990′s film and she was just so young, spectacularly, attractive and hot-looking. Than had the misfortune to see her in “SEX Tape” and it was just so apparent how terribly she has aged(she’s not even that old)you can’t get young again you can only allow your self to be butchered by some snook so you can alloe yourself to think you look youthful to all those people you never liked anyway? WHY?

J-Wow looks the best of the lot. Chances are the plastic surgeons have huge disclaimers preventing them from being sued, but that’s what we get for excessive vanity.

It’s hard for me to critique appearances, I just don’t think it’s nice. I actually place the blame on their surgeons. How are these results “do no harm”?
I’d add Carol Burnett to this list but my all – time disappointment was Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing. A true natural beauty. NYC and L.A. are so shallow about ethnic beauty.

I agree that a photo from someone’s 20′s can’t be compared to their 60′s. Maybe a couple of these later photos are also from a bad angle. Joan Van Ark looks scary in her later photo, but maybe it’s just the lighting. Even if she does look like her photo, a good make-up artist could pull her look together. All she has to do is blend her top eyelid make-up with her other eye-shadow and stop wearing zombie-white lipstick. A good foundation color would help. J-Woww now looks like a kardashian, and Megan Fox should stop now and never get any more surgery because she is beautiful already. Lara Flynn Boyle was stunning around 2005-2006. The reason I include the date is because her look changes every few years. Her face looks puffy now, but maybe it will settle down in a few months. Marie Osmond’s lips were too puffy for a bit, but have settled down now. Maybe the same will happen for Lara. Maybe with some of these celebrities, the camera points out flaws that aren’t so noticeable in person.

Such a waste, especially for Glen Campbell and a lot of them. He definitely didn’t need a face lift or anything done esp; when compared to the photos of him in his youth.
You might change a face, lump or an imperfection but you still have to live with the pains and associated pain that life throws at us as we all get older but lying in hospital bed with an incurable illness and there’s nothing anyone can do for you.
which would you prefer!!!!

I think had Michael Jackson lived into old age he would have looked hideous, like the Reaper, so his early death may have been a saving grace for him. I also wonder if the accumulative trauma to his face over the years hastened his end, because if he’d suffered such trauma in one episode like a car crash or a beating it would have killed him.

I wonder if they mixed up that J Woww person’s before and after photo? In the first one you can actually see an implant, in the second it just looks like her boobs are pushed together. But the second is definitely more natural looking.
