I thought the comment about Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon’s marriage was harsh. Regardless of looks (and Kyra’s looks are not bad) it’s a person’s character that you have a relationship with. This would not be my list, some of these people are nice looking. You forgot Woody Harrelson with his broken nose and no talent. Mayam Bialik , but God Bless her for making the best of her humor and talent. Nick Nolte, Elton John, Steve Buscemi, Marilyn Manson, Lyle Lovett, Malcolm McDowell, Courtney Love and so many that were homely before the plastic surgery, mainly nose jobs( Cher), and dental work. If we all had access to plastic surgery, dental implants and other procedures and the high priced make-up , hair salons, skin treatments etc we could be better looking too . Clothing and airbrush pics make a difference also. Seen them without make-up ? Only one is still pretty and that’s Jessica Simpson a true beauty .

Sarah Jessica Parker – Good golly, yes. A face like a foot. She might be the only person alive about whom that can accurately be said.
Lady Gaga – Gaga’s not ugly. Not notably so anyway.
David Schwimmer – What? You’re on crack.
Amy Winehouse – She’s dead, lay off.
Mick Jagger – Definitely. The Lily Tomlin comparison is apt (oddly enough, Tomlin is less ugly as a woman than she would be as a man).
Lindsay Lohan – Lilo’s not ugly. Don’t be silly.
Kyra Sedgewick – Kevin Bacon’s not a super hunk. Kyra Sedgewick is ugly though.
Adrian Brody – Not ugly, but probably smelly.
Miley Cyrus – I don’t think she’s hot, but do think there are at least 15 uglier celebraties. That said, she somehow just deserves to be on this list anyway.
Seth Rogen – Seth Rogen isn’t ugly, you just don’t like him.
Michael Jackson – All his plastic surgeries certainly made him freakish, but I’m not sure it’s accurate to call him ugly. If someone intentionally alters his appearance and is ugly as a result, can we then say he’s ugly? Actually, yeah, I guess we can.
Rosie O’Donnell – I would totally back down in a fight against Rosie. I’d probably pee myself too. It’d be like fighting a giant sea monster.
Nicholas Cage – Yeah, I guess.

I don’t understand how you think Lindsay Lohan is ugly. Only her behavior is. I think Kevin Bacon, Kiefer Sutherland with their uppity noses are ugly and Lyle Lovett, Mick Jagger, and Steven Tyler are “fugly”, honorable ugly mentions go to Kim Wayans; I always thought Sarah Jessica Parker was a little horsey face when she was on “Square Pegs” back in the 80′s when she had dark hair. Joan Rivers was average looking with makeup. It’s amazing how makeup makes ugly people somewhat decent looking. Maria Shriver has an odd facial bone structure with witch like features. I always thought Lisa Rinna was a little odd-looking with her big lips and NeNe Leakes, Real Housewives of Atlanta, isn’t attractive. Sorry. Lena Dunham and Lady Gaga aren’t that cute either. Tory Spelling is ugly and has a wide fish-eyed appearance and so does Liza Minnelli. I put Seth Rogen and Will Farrell in the ugly hairy chest & face category. Nasty! They’re not attractive at all. This “article” (I use that term very loosely when it comes to this trite) is nothing more than a spiteful attack on celebrities that the author deems unattractive! Whether this type of degradation qualifies as “sensationalistic media” or “humor” is irrelevant. Personally, my sympathy goes to the author who, in an obvious depression of self-loathing, felt the need to raise her (apparently this was vomited into life by a woman) self esteem by publicly attacking a select few who have probably had the fortune not to meet.
However, this will continue as long as readers voice their comments with a similarly degrading theme!

Nicholas Cage is very unattractive. The only reason he is onscreen at all is becasue he has a very famous producer relative (Coppola). And why is Uma Thurman not on this list? She is gross. Lindsay isn’t ugly, she just looks like an alcohol/drug addict–old before her time. SJP–that is a tough call. I never thought she was attractive, but I didn’t consider her ugly either. And for those wondering about Matthew choosing her–he isn’t all that either. They are both about average in looks–but they have plenty of talent and in Hollywood you can take that to the bank.

All of these celebrities have attractive physical qualities. They may not be classically beautiful in the showbiz sense but I think that their good work and success is a testament to their talent and tenacity. These are qualities on the inside and really are worth more than physical beauty. Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. To focus on what you perceive as a physical flaw in another person tells a lot about your humanity (or lack thereof.)

Beauty is a combination of many things. Not just a perfectly proportioned face or body. It’s a person as a whole. The way they walk and smile. The animation of their face. The love and kindness of their ways. To make a list of persons that are ugly? How pompous. How rude. Where are the ugly ones? All I see is attractive, ordinary people, none are ugly. There are a few with bad cosmetic alterations and some with really bad makeup. I notice these are all white people, no Black nor Asian? Rosie O’Donnel is not ugly, just fat (like most of us). We all have ideas of beauty, all very different, ugly we all agree on – I do not see anyone on this list everyone agrees on….no “uglies”. To be ordinary, attractive, plain, is what most of us are. When looking for the “ugliest” in the orld that are “stars”, it is hard to find them. There are some, they are not listed here because we would have a hard time looking at them and realize how lucky we are to be just ordinary. Look in the mirror people, look at your significant other, your children, your mom and dad, are they beautiful or just ordinary with a beautiful spirit. Think about what is really happening here….picking someone apart because you are jealous or don’t like them. I have found that we all see things differently and even someone who is considered to be the “most beautiful” like Gisselle Bundgeon(victorias secret model) may not be your most beautiful, but they are all very attractive. so maybe this writer is confused about what “ugly” and “beautiful” are. Kyra Sedgewick is a beautiful woman who has aged extremely gracefully. She doesn’t look much different now than she did 20 years ago. She also has a gorgeous head of hair that many women would kill for. To say that her coup was capturing “superhunk” Kevin Bacon is demeaning and untrue. She was the lead character on an award-winning tv show and starred in many hit movies. Bacon, on the other hand, is not exactly the handsomest man on earth (and I’m sure I’m not alone in this). I always thought he was creepy-looking.
Also, to call Seth Rogen ugly is extremely harsh. I think he is a normal-looking guy.

Good answer- I wouldn’t call SJP ugly; just not very attractive (I think her nose spoils her face)…nice figure and hair though… I don’t see anything wrong with Nicolas cage, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan or lady Gaga (although she is a bit skinny) but I think many of the others cited are spot on…it’s a shame that so many of those listed here like Michael Jackson would have been good looking without so much plastic surgery..quit while you’re ahead people!

Sorry, there is no way Michael Jackson or Lindsay Lohan are homely. You can do better than that in your search for the 20 homeliest people in Hollywood. Also, why didn’t you specify “famous people of all time” (Michael Jackson has passed)! That gives you a much larger pool of people out of which to find ugly fish. Next time limit it to 20 homeliest famous people of today.

Without picking the list apart the ones who are messed up because of plastic surgery deserve to be as ugly as they have become. I live in an affluent town and there are tones of people here who have had work done and most just look messed up after. There have been a couple of nose jobs that have made improvements but the lips and the eye lifts and the stretching just makes people look stupid.
