Okay, so she’s in her 50s, so it’s probably not all that surprising that she looks different with makeup. With as much as she runs around and stays on the go, she does look her age when she doesn’t have her makeup done. To be fair, she has a body and stamina that most women her age can only dream of, so looking a little old without makeup is not a bad place to be.

I’m sorry but I completely disagree with what they said about Tyra banks, she had an episode on her show once where she went without make and I believe she is beautiful with or without make. Under her picture it said if they saw a makeup free Tyra walking towards them they wouldn’t give her a second look. I’m sorry but Tyra is beautiful ether way.

I guess in the article’s defense, the title does say celebrities “you won’t recognize,” not celebrities “that look bad.”
I think about half of the celebrities who supposedly look really bad in their no-makeup photos would look just fine if the photo were taken a few seconds later and/or they were smiling in the picture

Precisely. The “unrecognizable” photos are almost all taken in the least flattering lighting and/or camera angle. Just by changing the camera position you can dramatically alter a person’s appearance, makeup or not. And as you mentioned, the subject’s expression has everything to do with it as well. We’ve all had photos taken of us that weren’t terribly flattering, simply because of the face we were making at the time. I think anyone could have been placed in that lineup and been made to look unrecognizable. And does anyone really expect that celebrities always look like they do when performing?

I salute all women. All Women are beautiful with or without make-up. Society needs to give women a break. Make- up, no make-up, skinny, fat, young or more mature are beautiful. We need to stop being so hard on all people. None of us are perfect.

All of the plain photos would look a lot better if the subjects were smiling. A smile tends to take the sag out of the cheeks and brightens the eyes.

My children found it hard to believe that the people who like to call them selves white are actually albinos,descendants from ancient African tribes. Looking at these pictures of them without the makeup you can see the albino features.and we all can see that they aren’t the most beautiful race of people in the whole world as they want everyone to believe.they have to paint their faces to kept up the illusion. They also love albino color hair which is blonde and red. They think it makes them look beautiful too. The farce has worked, they got everyone else wanting to look like albinos. Lol

Well, I have to say there are several that I believe look better w/o makeup. Then too, they seemed to bend over backwards to find pics that given the same conditions, makeup would not have helped anyway…..i.e., the pics that appeared to be taken in hurricane force winds, for example
I saw another “version” of this….”some # of Stars sans makeup” & I felt that almost every one was at least AS attractive w/o if not more so. But then, I had an Aunt that swore against makeup and believed that long-term use dried out the skin and prematurely caused wrinkle…..at 60, she still had the skin of a 16 y/o using only Cocoa Butter to moisturize at bedtime every night. She did use a light pinkish lipstick sometimes….

Actually, ALL of them are not wearing make-up and none of them ever wear “hooker” make up because they all have professional make up artists to do their make-up.
